Sam was ahead of the game, using a boxing club as a launch pad to tackle one of the most ignored problems in our community.
I'm fortunate to have been given the the gift of performing boxing to a decent level.. Plus my passion of working with people in the community especially the young , marginalised disenfranchised who fall through the cracks.
Blending all these groups and my experience to the constraints of govt funding, and the creativity of others. Brings its rewards and challenges, and like minded people are drawn together, fast forward to CARIS ... It's a revolving door of opportunity and realisation that the maze of problems the world throws up, can be navigated.
